Question

Photoshop crashes when I try to render an image stack

Hi,

I've been creating and rendering smart objects for a project. I've been doing this for the past month without issue. Now though, the program is consistently crashing (usually after allowing me to successfully render one stack). It's not an issue of too many images in the stacks, as there aren't that many and I'm currently using fewer than normal anyway.

I updated my version of Photoshop and downloaded the new version - the problem persists.

Thanks for your help

M

Hi there,

If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help > System Info... and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Also, please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Sahil
