Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.3.1 20231212.r.241 46eb480 x64
Windows 11 Pro - Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621

Hello. I have recently updated Windows 10 to 11 and it seems to have affected Photoshop's stability.

PS will work normally for a few minutes and all of a suddenly it freezes and crashes with no error message. It does not enter the not-responding stage at all. On event viewer, it shows the same details every time except for the Faulting process id, Faulting Start Time and Report ID:

Faulting application name: Photoshop.exe, version: 25.3.1.241, time stamp: 0x65789802
Faulting module name: HalideBottlenecks.8bx, version: 25.3.1.241, time stamp: 0x65789327
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00000000003ba91c
Faulting process id: 0x0x41B8
Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DA31FDBF25DC98
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2024\Photoshop.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2024\Required\Plug-ins\Extensions\HalideBottlenecks.8bx
Report Id: f360185a-b226-4ba8-bd58-529a11090395
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

I have done the following troubleshooting steps.

- Update Photoshop
- Reset Photoshop Preferences
- Reinstall Photoshop
- Do a clean install of the latest Nvidia Drivers
- Ran sfc /scannow with no errors detected
- Ran CHKDSK with no faults found

I cannot find a repeatable cause and have not encountered any issues with other software so far. There has not been any problems prior to upgrading from Windows 10

Just an update, I am still unable to resolve the issue on Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.3.1 20231212.r.241 46eb480 x64.

I have tried almost every resolution I could find. A complete reformat and clean install of Windows 11 Home (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631). I've Increased my memory voltages for stability. MemTest86 had zero errors after 4 successful passes. I've reset my preferences multiple times, used Adobe Cleaner.

Photoshop still continues to crash with the same Exception_Access_Violation code and HalideBottlenecks.8bx. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has never been an issue on Windows 10 and is affecting my work. The latest crash log is below.

Hi! I have used the cleaner tool and installed a fresh copy of Photoshop. It still unpredictably crashes without warning.

I've checked the log and found this, it points to HalideBottlenecks.8bx. The exception code sounds like a memory issue but this problem has never occured on all versions of Photoshop before I switched to Windows 11. Windows Memory Diagnostic shows no problems, however I've yet to try MemTest86.
