Photoshop crashing when opened, latest cc and Mac OS High Seira

Every time I open my Photoshop it just immediately crashes and auto quits. It started yesterday after updating my Imac to the latest OS, High Siera.

I've now also updated my cc to the latest version and if anything it's made things worse with crashes happening even faster after the app start-up.

Any help would be hugely welcome, I'm incredibly reliant on this program for work and I;m in a very busy period with impending deadlines!

I have the same Problem. I made an upgrade- High Sierra on my Mac Book Pro 2015. When i use PS and work with Nik Filters, the PS crashed every tmie. I made a new PS Version on my Mac and a new Nik Installation. But the Problem is the same.

Have anyone an Idea? Is this a Problem of High Sierra or an ADOBE PRoblem?

I'm having the same issue so I reset the Preferences as instructed. But then when I went to set my Preference back to what they were before this lame update, it crashed when I closed Preferences. Did nobody there do even a cursory check on this before releasing it? Now I get to spend the next hour restoring the previous version.

How many possible combinations of platform, OS versions, processors, GPU drivers etc. do you think there are and do you   believe they could all be tested?

Hi there,

We're sorry about the frustrating experience with Photoshop, could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop & see if it works?

I have now had to reinstall my 2017 version for it to work, your response

is EXTREMELY unhelpful, please can you be a bit more specific.

I;m now also having crashes in In Design every time I try to paste text. I

pay A LOT of money for these programs and rely on them for my livelihood

and to meet deadlines and this is EXTREMELY frustrating and costing me time

and money.

please could you offer some more helpful advice?

Would request you to update to the latest version of Photoshop then go into the Root User account of MAC and see if you are able to open Photoshop there.
