Photoshop CS4

I have been using CS4 for 2 months and i tried to get on it today for work and Its saying I have to have CS2 or CS3 to do a update and I don't have those. It won't let me go any farther. What do I do?

    There is no way you can install a CS4 upgrade - which is what you have - without a previous version serial number (or a previous version already installed).

    Photoshop CS4 was released in 2008 and hasn't been officially available since 2010 or so, when it was replaced with CS5 in all official outlets. Where did you buy this?

    Check your Adobe account, maybe you registered them. Otherwise, it might be worth contacting Adobe, if you registered CS4 years ago: they might be kind. But I do t understand how you could have been using CS4 for only 2 months.

    Whatever you paid for, you RECEIVED an upgrade license. That is why it is looking for an older license.

    I never paid for upgrade license. I just bought the CS4.

    You don't have to install the product. But since you paid for an upgrade license you must use the SERIAL NUMBER from the old product. If you've lost that you can't install.
