    Hi,

I'm using Mojave OS 10.14.3.  I tried your suggestion but it was already set on the "allow the app to control your computer".  However, on a chance, I turned that off, tried Photoshop which still didn't work, then went back into Preferences and reset it.  Photoshop started working again.  I don't know how long it will last, but thanks for the suggestion.  At least it saves me for a time learning Affinity Photo that I bought in frustration and which I wasn't looking forward to learning.

    Hi Hemigrapsus,

Sorry to hear about Photoshop crashing upon launch, could you please let us know the operating system you're working on?

Could you please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Preferences Reset Article Photoshop - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

To restore preferences quickly using a keyboard shortcut:

    • Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

    Regards,
