Photoshop CS5 crashed when brush tool is used.

Hey there...

Since today, and without ever having had this problem again in years, my trusty Photoshop CS5 decided to crash whenever a certain brush is used. It is one of my most used tools, which never made problems over the years.

I'd be thankful for any ideas. So far I tried restarting my Mac, restarting Photoshop several times, installing Mac OS Software updates and reinstalling all my brushes.

    Reset the Brush tool by right clicking here:

    If that does not solve the problem, reset Preferences:

    Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

    Hi

    You mention a certain brush, so is it only happening on that particular brush?
