Question

Photoshop CS5 quits in High Sierra when I hit print.

Hi all. I am running Photoshop CS5 (still) and today, for some reason, it just stopped working when I hit print. It just shuts down completely. I updated all my Epson Software (Epson WF-4630) and restarted but that did not work. Does anyone have any advice on how I can fix this issue? Right now, I can export to PDF and print but that makes no sense that I have to do that... Any solutions out there ?

Thank you.

Is your photoshop cs5 updated to 12.0.4?

You can tell in photoshop by going to Help>System Info and the top line is the Photoshop Versiom.

So I have never heard of Onyx. I have downloaded it now. Do I simply run maintenance?

Try trashing your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings.

(Mac OS only) Open the Preferences folder in the Library folder*, and drag the Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder to the Trash.

Any better?

You might need to reset CUPs if that doesn't work, but try it first and let us know.

Hello. I did the first part. I held down the three you suggest then chose Delete the current settings. At this point, it still carshes.

Which of these files do I trash ?

Thank you for your help.
