Photoshop CS6 aktivation/inaktivation

My harddisk crasched. I reinstalled PS CS6. But the program tells me I have two aktivated programs which is wrong. I have not PS CS6 anywhere else. When I log on to my account with the serial number, it says I have no activated programs - catch 22. How do I proceed? I now only have 26 days left om PS CS6......

The harsh truth is that Adobe will no longer reset activation counts for the old Creative Suite applications. The only way to activate a new install now is to deactivate the old install. In other words, a disk crash is final. There is no way to reclaim that activation when it can't be deactivated.

 

You had two activation slots originally. Apparently you already lost one of them earlier, so you only had this one left.

 

Not what you want to hear, I know, but this is the way it is now. After all, these applications are 13 years old (+) by now.

 

Just so it's said, the CC applications, from 2014 up, can be deactivated remotely without access to the machine. But not CS x.
