Photoshop CS6 Bridge "Get Photos From Camera" Not Working?

I found yesterday November 4 that when I try "Get Photos From Camera" nothing happens but if I try clicking on anything else of the Bridge interface it crashes.  The Camera Raw Downloader does not open.  Pryor to this complete loss of feature the Downloader had not been starting upon inserting an SD Card or Plugging the camera in to a UBS port.  And for a while before that often it would take several tries to get the Downloader to open.  I found the current complete loss of the Downloader and Link from Bridge happens with more than one camera, both Pentax and Fujifilm.  I now have to Copy or Move image files from Camera or SD Card to Windows manually and have to rename them manually individually.  Any idea what is going on?  Ps Bridge problem?  Windows problem?  Driver problem?  Why now?  Help.  - Mike
