Photoshop CS6 installing problem

Hi.  I had to wipe my Mac and do a fresh OS install so I lost all my software.  I'm trying to restore my LR6 and PS CS6 installations.  For LR6 I had to buy a new license (upgrade) for 79$ and still waiting for it to be available for download.  The PS CS6 cannot be installed, I get a message: "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem".  My understanding is that the Adobe Support Advisor is not available anymore.  Either way, I think Adobe has been setup to wear people out with the hope they will subscribe to one of their plans.  I don't know what to do at this point.  I'm looking at the option of getting a Capture One license to make up for LR6, but need to solve the PS CS6 issue once and for all.  If there is any help I can can obtain from this source (because I don't seem to find any other way to get any "assistance") I´d appreciate it.

This is how I solved the issue to install PS CS6:  Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)
