Photoshop CS6 is Lagging with Cintiq

Hello, 

I have had this issue before but I would greatly appreciate being able to solve this as this is interfering with my work production. I have Windows and as of a few days ago, my Cintiq Pro 16 runs slow whenever I am using Photoshop. I have tested other programs with my Cintiq, and have used the mouse in Photoshop on my computer to determine that a) the Cintiq operates normally with any other program and b) Photoshop is not running slow with the computer. Therefore, it is 100% a program issue with Photoshop in its relation to the Cintiq.

Essentially whenever I am drawing, the penwork will show up several seconds later, slowly. I won't be able to draw more while the program is playing "catchup" as the blue spinning wheel indicating Windows is loading or running slow takes over my cursor.

Please help me fix this.
