Photoshop deleted layer styles
I have read the other threads on missing Photoshop styles and one of the threads did have the solution (it seems) but it didn't exactlye explain in detail how to do what was suggest. I am a novice when it comes to system files so don't have a clue where to start. Apparently, Photoshop Styles palette are stored in your user id Photoshop's preferences folder and I have to access the Styles.psp file to restore mine. My question is: how exactly do I do that? A step by step guide would be helpful.
This is the thread that seemed to have the solution: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/photoshop-deleting-layer-styles/m-p/10895922?page=1
Edit: As far as I can tell, I have the same issue as the person in the above thread. My computer shut down due to my toddler prushing the off button. When I restarted it Photoshop retored the file I was working on but the styles I had saved and loaded into the styles palette were now replaced with the default styles that I had deleted and rearranged previously.
