Question

Photoshop doesn't work with Intuos

Hello!

I know there's a lot of similar threads, but in my case, my tablet doesn't move when I'm inside Photoshop. It works fine in any other window and it also draws (I tested it in paint). Clicking works inside photoshop it just won't move the cursor. I tried installing/reinstalling various tribers, disabled DPI scaling and windows ink and whatnot.

I just dont know what to do anymore.

I have a Windows 10 laptop, Photoshop CS6 and an Intuos Pen.

It has worked fine with my bamboo pen before but that one died a few weeks ago :C

Thanks for your help in advance.

I know the only issue I have from time to time is not having pressure sensitivity. (But that's always been an issue across all systems and graphics tablets.) A restart of Photoshop usually fixes it. I have the latest drivers using an Intuos Pen and Touch (small) in Windows 10 Build 1809. (It's a custom-built system I built myself.)

Maybe try updating video drivers if that hasn't been done in awhile.

You have the exact same setup as I do, even the same tablet, and mine works fine. There must be some kind of Wacom setting doing this.

what kind of drivers are you using?

I don't know, I just installed the tablet software when it arrived, and then from time to time if something starts acting squirrely, I update the driver from online. I think that would apply to any tablet you use. I've had all different Wacom tablets, and at the moment I have an Intuos Pro. It's weird that this is happening to you only in Photoshop (I also have CS6).

Hi Elysio,

This does not seem right, as it should not be happening.

As the Intuos Pen is not working as expected in Photoshop, could you please let us know when was the last time it worked perfectly?
Did the issue start after a certain update?

Also, could you try the steps mentioned here and let us know if it helps?
