Does XP-pen star 03 device driver have support for WinTab API? Or does it just support Windows INK APLI on windows.

If you are using an old Perpetual version of Photoshop those Photoshop versions only support  WinTab API for pen support, You do not need the PSUserConfig.txt.  You only need the file for creative cloud version of photoshop when you want to use WinTab API for Photoshop defaults to using Windows INK API for pen control,  If Photoshop is using WinTab API for pen support your tablet also needs to use WinTab API.  My  Wacom tablet defaults to using Windows INK.  I need to set up a  Wacom preferences for Application Photoshop and un-check use Windows INK with Photoshop

Again the mapping of you pen on the table to the mapping of Photoshop on your display is the  something the your Tablet Device driver is responsible for.  I do not have a  XP-pen star 03 tablet so I do not know how to setup your tablet.  I have a Wacom Tablet and it supports preferences for application and supports both WinTab and INK API.   I configure my Wacom to use Windows INK Api for all applications but Photoshop.  I use two and sometime three displays on my machines.   I have the Wacom tablet surface mapped to my whole desktop for all application except Photoshop. For Photoshop to map the tablet to juts the display I edit images  and to also force portion. That is only part of the tablet surface is use to map to my 16:9 displays aspect ratio. There is a small area on the tablets active surface that is not active when I use Photoshop so if I trace a circle on my tablet a circle will be drawn in my Photoshop document. For all other applications the full tablet surface is  map to all my displays in use. Right now I have two 16:9 Displays side by side so 32:9 together.  I do not remember what the full active surface aspect ration of my tablet is it not a 32:9 aspect ratio.   Wacom divers allows you to map the tablet surface many ways.  I could a map small area of my tablet surface to many displays.  My tablet is the Wacom Intuos Pro small. The the surface is small its like 6.5" by 4" close to a 3:2 aspect ratio  resolution density  is 31496x19685 that near 4,900ppi

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about Photoshop crashing, could you please let us know the version of Photoshop you're working with?
Also, did you try reinstalling or updating the tablet drivers to see if it helps?

Just to double check the PSUserConfig file, could you check this article and see if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/kb/tablet-support-faq-photoshop.html

Regards,
Sahil
