Photoshop draining battery even when not in use

Hi, I recently installed photoshop on my laptop and everything was going well up until last week when it started draining my battery even when it was fully closed. I have a Mac OS Monterey with version 12.4 and the latest photoshop update. I also use after effects and I have no problem with that app.

Anytime I leave photoshop open, the battery dead indicator comes up when I open the mac. I have to plug it in to start up again. Then it shows sometimes 70 or 80% battery left.

Not sure how Photoshop could do this, so here's the test: Use Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall Photoshop, close the Macbook lid for a few hours: what happens?
