Hello Guys, recently I noticed something strange. I took a rough selection, went with strg+alt+R into the menu and then tried to use the edge improve brush to correct my edges. As you can see, the tool doesnt work for me somehow. Instead of "cleaning" my edges it deletes my object. I've watched many Videos and I did the exact samething as they did, but somehow my tool deletes my Object. Dont know what I'm doing wrong, hope you guys can figure ut what is wrong with my Photoshop.

That screenshot seems pretty meaningless, please post something more useful like the original image and the actual Select and Mask dialog.

If there are thin/fine elements in the reflection on the »windshield« you may have to use something else than the Refine Edge Brush Tool to address the area.

Step1. I got the original Picture and did a selection.

Step2. Select and highlight( I go into the Menu)

Step3. I'm in the Menu with my rough selection and my view is black and white

Step4. I take the edge improve bursh and drive around all the edges. Brush-size:14 Opacity:100% Distance:25%

Step5. I add a Layer mask.

Step6. At the bizeps you can clearly see that it just deleted things, it made them transparent.

After that step the problem seems to be visible already so you may wan to address it with the Quick Selection Tool or Brush Tool for example.
