Photoshop Edit Log not updating

Not for me, works only when I delete the log files and tick again the option, creating a new txt log file. but even so just for the current session and then is dead again, very annoying bug as use this function to price retouching times

Thank you, Just updated to 24.6 and when I go in settings and untick/tick the write Log option it works, but only in current session, when PS is quit and relaunched it stops writing in log file again.. odd.
