I am using an Photoshop CC2017 from very early. But Recenlty I had purchased new HP 250 G7 laptop   with 4GB RAM, I3 7th GEN Processor and 1TB Hardisk . After Installing Adobe Photoshop CC2017 in this Laptop I started facing an Error 'an integer between 96 and 8 is required' when opening Preferances. Then i tried to resolve this Issue by Editing Registry in Photoshop >110.0>New>32Bit>OverridePhysicalMemoryMB then seting its value to Decimal>4096. After doing this when i Re-opened the Photoshop Again, Still I'm facing the same issue. The problem has not been resolved yet.

Pls suggest me useful method to resolve this issue except Registry edit method. bcoz i'm frustated with this issue.

"The problem has not been resolved yet"

The issue was fixed in June 2018 (version 19.1.5) release, so as Dave said you need to update Photoshop
