Question

Photoshop Extremly Slow won't stay on my default workspace

Ever since I downloaded the 2017 update of Photoshop (Release 2017.1.0) it runs painfully slow. I wasn't having problems before the download (which I installed the last week of April). I have a separate scratch disc and used 71% or my RAM (4951 mb) for it. Like I said, it wasn't an issue before the update. Also, I set up my workspace as I used to have it before the update, but it keeps defaulting back to the "Start" workspace no matter how many times I change it back to mine. I'm not a new Photoshop user, I've used it for over 10 years now. It also lost my add on filters with the update. This is the WORST release ever.

Anyone having similar problems?

Let us know if that helps.

    Hi!

I updated today Photoshop CC to 2017.1.1 and starting a new document takes a g  e   s, I mean it is disturbingly slooow.

Checked the Optimize link above and it did not help.

Sorry for the delay in response. Please help us with the System info from the Photoshop's Help>>System info menu.

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks,
