Photoshop feezing completely and can only close with rebooting after trying to Image Size!

I'm using Adobe Photoshop Version: 23.1.0 20211208.r.143 83e47c5 x64  , on Windows 11.

Not sure if this is a Windows 11 problem, but I've been having multiple issues with Photoshop lately (I also got a new laptop which may be the issue?)..

The latest one today is that whenever I try to resize and image using "Image Size" I can click on "Image Size..." on the menu, it will pop up and then everything freezes completely. (This is also if only ONE image is loaded) I try to End Task and it does nothing.. have tried it 3x.. going a bit nuts as I have a project I wanna finish tonight!!

Any ideas??? I haven't yet changed any of the preferences (i.e. GPU usage etc.), so it's "straight out of the box

Just an update... my graphics driver was out of date by some months so I downloaded the latest version, so far it's working again... But, if anyone has had this issue and found anything else helps as well, let me know!
