Photoshop file corrupted after shutting down my computer, anything I can do to save it?

So basically I saved my file, closed photoshop, then shut down my computer. When I opened it back up again, I got what looked like this screen of death

Is there any possible way to restore my file? I was working on an art project for around a week and it'd be a huge shame to let all of what i'd done go to waste.

If you are on a Mac and Time Machine is active, you should be able to go back several hours or days to recover the file at that stage in its creation.  If not I suggest that, in the future, you save the file as you work, each with a modified file name, such as "filename_1", "filename_2" etc. To work on a file for a week and not create sequential work-in-process backups is deadly.

You only have backups if you make them. Do you?

Use your backups from the night before.
