Photoshop Files opening as blank

I couldn't find an existing thread on this issue so I figured I'd make my own. Recently I've had a few files go blank on me and I don't understand why, here is what happens:

• I save my files just the same as I always have.

• Then when I go to click the file to re open it to work on it, it auto opens photoshop to the "create new document" page.

• When I check the file size in my folder, it says 0 bytes, but that cannot be the case.

• I am working on an online file storage system called pcloud (similar concept to dropbox) and this is when the problem arose, was this January when we started using this.

• I don't believe however that it is anything to do with that, because coworkers of mine are able to open the files on their end.

Is this a problem with my computer? It isn't too terribly old and has been running the same as always so I would be surprised to find out there were an issue with my computer. If anybody knows why this might be happening, please let me know, it has caused many inconveniences over the past month.

**NOTE** I have not been receiving the classic "corrupt file" warning when trying to open these files, but rather just the create document screen.

Thanks so much for any help.

Hi

Have you tried downloading the files to your desktop, what is the file size when you do that and can you open them in Photoshop. Adobe recommend working locally from your PC.

Hi thanks for replying. It does work when I download them yes, I presume that would mean there is an issue with the

P-Cloud Drive, correct?

It's good to know that I can recover the files relatively simply, but it is inconvenient if I have to go through this step a few times per week. I unfortunately have to use P-Cloud for work (office rules) so this might just be how it goes for me for now..

Thanks for your suggestion!
