Photoshop: generative fill not active

Hi,
some time (rare cases) I celect an area to fill but the function remain gray and it's not possible to procede.
Any idea to resolve the problem is wellcome... Thanks

Check your internet connection and firewall settings. Make sure Photoshop and Adobe are listed and allowed.

Also showing your layers panels with the selection would help.

All is exactly as before, I've used PSD everydays from more then one year without any problem.

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?
