Question

Photoshop giving "not connected to internet" message

Trying to use the 3D preview for an animated project. Worked fine until today.

I did the update, it gave the error message:

"3D ANIMATION SERVICES (PREVIEW) UNAVAILABLE - No internet connection is detected."

So I reinstalled the previous version of Photoshop. No change.

Disabled my Firewall (I'm only on Defender but still worth a shot.) No change.

I'm not an expert on the technical end of this by any means. Can anyone offer a fix here?

Thanks,

What is your OS, (ah looks like Windows 10)? Have you exited (quit) all the way out of Creative Cloud and then signed in again with your UN/PW? Also, some other people have had the same internet connection error and it was fixed by updating their video card drivers. Worth a shot!

Hi! Thanks for responding so quickly!

So, I'm on Windows 10. I tried signing in and out of Creative Cloud, and my
video card has the latest update.
Still no luck though.

No problem, sorry I haven't been able to give you more help! I'm assuming this doesn't have to do your system at all but with the 3D Animation Services Preview since you have an internet connection otherwise. Has that changed in anyway? Maybe it was disabled in some way? Did you check the Preferences > Technology Previews > Enable CC 3D Animations (Preview) setting? I’m out of ideas and clues... fingers crossed you will figure it out soon!
