I've tried every solution the site had about this problem, and it still persists. Does anyone have a new solution. How can one update the driver on a Mac?

you don't update drivers on a Mac... thats a Windows thing

the error message is Adobe saying they didn't detect one of the three or so graphics they tested and so is BS... my standard work around is the make sure your cc app is running and fully synced [or pause the sync] then reopen Photoshop. from the main Window where the new UI is trying to sync with Adobe server to collect your pass work and show you adds for Adobe products you don't need... let all of that sync before moving on and Photoshop should now find its Gpu

Is this regarding Camera Raw? If so, there is a file that starts with: tempdisablegpu that you need to delete for it to work again.

Here is the location of the file:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/GPU

No, it has to do with features like Oil Paint that won't work.
