Photoshop has stopped working

I have The Creative Suite 6 and recently if I use the move tool the program gives me a Photoshop has stopped working and then my only option is to close the program. I have uninstall the Suite and re downloaded it I have also checked for any update. What should I do next?

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

I have reinstalled photoshop and then the uninstalled the full creative suite and reinstalled it again. After doing this now my other programs don't work correctly so I'm going backwards.
