Photoshop Help

To Whom It May Concern,

I'm saving my file as a PSD, 8 bit, RGB, not flattened. When I reopen it I have No layers. What's going on?

Not sure what to do.

I've got the following messages:

Could not complete your request because its not the right kind of document.

Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufactures website for the latest software.

I went to the performance panel of preferences and checked GPU enhancements, It's not staying on when I start a new document?

Also under preferences-

GPU Settings-Description

your system display driver has caused Photoshop to crash. Update or reinstall the driver & check enable open GL drawing to retry.

Hope it's as simple as reinstalling Photoshop and not my computer.

Thanks for your help

    Wha tare the complete Save-settings?

Please post screenshots including the pertinent Panels and dialogs to illustrate.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
