Question

Photoshop is not printing :(

CC Photoshop 2017 is no longer printing after I upgraded to OS 10.13.

Yet I can print emails and other documents from other programs.

Is there something I need to do to have my Photoshop and Epson Stylus NX430 to talk to one another?

ps. Is there no longer Chat support available with Adobe??

Thank you!

Hélène

Thank you all for sharing the helpful info. I'm on Win10, not Mac, and I have three different Epson printers. I just did a complete clean uninstall and reinstall of each printer not even 3 months ago. ! Yes, this has happened before but I used to get an error message before PS crashed. Now it saves me time by just crashing :/  I installed a new graphics card (radeon RX560) thinking that would help, which I guess it did since I've not had any problems until yesterday. I don't think it's the graphics card, though. However, the update driver button isn't connecting to Radeon to check for updates. I will start there. But I don't know of any recent updates on any software that I have. A couple of weeks ago, I randomly checked on Epson's site for update driver info (because now I know how important that is!) and all mine were up to date. I'm at a loss as to what to do now because I'm in the middle of a big project and can't just stop to reinstall everything I'm using.

I would suggest opening a new thread with the details and do explain you are using Windows 10. We have a raft of Windows experts that may not visit a thread they think is Mac specific.

Ooops. Sorry. I didn't realize I was on a Mac only thread. Seems the no-print problem is affecting both Mac and PC. I'll try to search elsewhere for answers.

Here are Adobe steps for troubleshooting print problems in Mac.

Troubleshoot Photoshop printing problems

Also something to note: Photoshop has its' own print programming, and your own Mac programs has a standard way to print.

So if you can print from other programs, it means there is a problem with Photoshop's print function.

Chat support is available here Contact Customer Care as for the printer issues,  have you made sure there isn't an issue with the printer driver?  Is everything current in terms of drivers?

Hello,

Indeed, just had a look and apparently there are no more updates / driver's for this printer. I'm guessing then I have the latest firmware.

and yes, I can print from Adobe Acrobat or email and so forth..

Just not photoshop:(

Sometimes restarting your Mac can clear up problems as well.

In the instructions, see these steps:

5. Re-create the instance of the printer (Mac only).

6. Re-create the Photoshop preferences file.

Ugh! I'm having the same problem. CC2018 PS crashes when I try to print. Can't even get to the print dialog box. I was able to print this same file just 3 weeks ago without any problem, but I need to print it again and PS just keeps crashing. I reinstalled PS but there's no change to the problem. What has happened, Adobe?
