Photoshop is taking 100 GB storage space on computer while starting up.

Everytime I try to open photoshop it starts taking up 100+ gbs of storage. Premiere Pro and After Effects work just fine and don't do what photoshop does, but when opening photoshop, it lags and freezes whilst starting to eat up on storage. Once I close it I get all my storage back, but open it once again and it all disappears, what do I do?

Where do you see this? Can you point to a specific directory/folder/location on disk? Screenshots?

Are you opening a file when you see this, and how big is it - or are you just launching the application without any open files?

Hi there,

Sorry that Photoshop is taking very high storage space on your computer while starting up.

It's quite strange that Photoshop is taking 100GB of space. Which version of Photoshop are you using and what is your operating system?

Would you mind restoring the preferences for Photoshop & see if it helps? See this article for reference: https://t.co/ulJI7cGn1G

You may want to backup your settings beforehand: https://t.co/4dX7gkr36D

Thanks,

Akash
