Photoshop issues after Big Sur Update.

Hello guys,

 

I just updated my iMac to Big Sur yesterday and quite a few issues arose. Below are the 2 issues I found, and I wonder if anyone experienced similar issues and if there's any fix to these problems.

 

1) My "File" > "Script" section is useless. None of the text in the panel is showing.

2) The rulers around canvas turned to white when I used the "Paint Brush", "Clone Stamp", and "Eraser" tools. It flickers between ruler and solid white color on every click. Although it's doesn't affect using these tools, I find the flickering especially annoying.

 

Please share what issues you are/were having after the Big Sur update, if you have the same issues, or what may be the solutions to these issues if there are any. Thanks for sharing in advance.

Hi,

 

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind telling us which version of Photoshop are you working on? Please ensure you have the latest version of Photoshop installed on the computer through the Creative Cloud desktop app.

 

Please go to the System Preferences for your Mac, then Security and Privacy, then select the Privacy tab. Then select Accessibility from the list to the left & check if Photoshop is added to the list with a check mark in front of it. If Photoshop is not a part of the list, please add it by unlocking the window first using the lock at the bottom left, then clicking the + icon & navigating to the Applications folder. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop under Full disk access located in the same list as Accessibility. Once done, restart the Mac & check if it helps.

This is a problem I'm seeing many people are having yet Adobe is doing nothing to resolve the issue. It's been over 3 months since this post was made, is anyone over there going to address this bug? I use the ruler quite often and its causing a huge problem with my workflow now that it's doing this glitch.

 

Please address the problem. We pay money for this software and you guys keep changing things and causing glitches that don't need to happen and all it's doing is hindering working people's time.
