Photoshop issues with Win10 Fall Creators Update

Hey together,

i (and i`m pretty sure i`m not alone ...) have several issues since i updated to the actual 1709 Release of Win10 (Fall Creators Update) with PS and the Wacom intuos.

- the Head-UP-Display from the brush-tool wont Show up by alt+right-click- the Part-Healing-Brush lags

- several other Shortcuts dont work correct

If i uninstall the 1709 everything works fine again. Same behaviour in CC2017 / CC2018.

Can you confirm this?

When will there be a solution for this issues?

Kind regards

Hello Christianp,

Had the same problem after installing Win10(Fall Creators Update). Solved the issue by uninstalling 2017-11 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Win10 1709 for x64-based Systems(KB4048951).

Hope, that this will help)

Thanks Helena,

i found another approach to solve the issue for me:

Create a file named  "PSUserConfig.txt" and this file add the line "UseSystemStylus 0" (without the quotes). Then copy this file to

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings.

.

Finally in the Wacom drivers create a profile for Photoshop (if you haven't already) and then go to "Mappings" and uncheck the "Use Windows Ink" checkbox.

Works for me like a charme. I did the same for Lightroom and the Pen acts much more smoother and adds much more comfort for me. Never thought that the Wacom could be so handy

Never than the less - i'm quite not sure who has to play the ball in this game - but it should be done...

Hi Christianp,

Could you please try updating Photoshop to 19.0.1. which was just released.

Please check in the creative cloud application you sill see the update, if the update doesn't appear then try signing out and signing back in to the creative cloud application.

Regards,

Sahil

Hello Sahil,

just updated my Installation via Cloud Application.  PS-Version after update is: 19.0 20171103.r.190 2017/11/03: 1143799  x64 – is this the correct Version?

The behaviour of the brush-tool is the same as before.

Regards,

Christian

Same Issue here. PS 19.0 + Win10 (Fall Creators Update) + Intuos 3. Absolutely not possible to work like that.

[edit]  Just went back to previous windows version. Everything works now.
