Photoshop lags/delays while using undo

Photoshop  will freeze/lag/delay for several seconds after using a multiple undo. It's driving me bonkers. Anyone have any ideas why it might be doing this? It's not every time, perhaps 65%-70% of the time? Thoughts?

Here are my computer specs in case it might be that:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.60GHz

8GB RAM

Running Photoshop CC 2017.1.1 and Windows 10 Pro

I have a Huion Model: NEW 1060PLUS Tablet installed and I have disabled Windows Ink

Photoshop is using 77% RAM and History states is 50 and Cache levels 4

I am having a simular problem. Photoshop will freeze/lag/delay for a few seconds after using a multiple undo. Also happens around 65% -75% of the time.
