Photoshop lags while opening files/images on Windows 11

when i open an image in photoshop it lags for 10 seconds before i can do anything. Any idea how to fix this so i can have immidiate access. I am running the latest version of photoshop in windows 11. Lots of ram.

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop while opening files. Does this happen with all the files you try to work with or with large files? Are the files saved on an external drive or your computers internal storage? It might be helpful if you could share your computer configuration.
