photoshop layers and frame animations

Im trying to animate a gif, but after making 10 layers photoshop only displays one layer when all of them are visible. Even if I click on another layer it only shows that one as if it's the only layer available. Then  I tried to make a timeline from my layers and it only displayed one layer and refuses to acknowledge the other 9. Someone help I'm so frustrated
