Photoshop/Lightroom RAM utilization

Hello,

 

Guys, I'm working right now on gaming laptop (Asus rog strix G512) with 16GB RAM.

I'm working with photoshop/lightroom and hardware acceleration on in both apps.

What I observe in the system monitor (Win10) that utilization of RAM after 1h of working is about 90% and I observe that both: LB and PS starts working slowly..

That is why I'm thinging about axpansion of RAM and there is a question:

Should I go to 32GB RAM or maybe 64GB?

Just wonder if investing in 64GB can be overpaid and PS/LR will never utilize such memory.

What is your opinion about that?

What are your Photoshop memory settings? You choose how much it is to use. More memory is better, but you cannot tell how much you need just because it is used up - the system is designed to use all available RAM.

I'm working with RAWs from my Nikkon Z7.
