Photoshop locks up..

This affects all loaded projects. All dropdowns and tools flicker (see video) and app does not respond and is ridiculously slow to close if at all. Lenovo P340, GTX1080 video card, Windows 10, all the drivers are up to date, although suspect.

@J453 I appreciate your help. I THINK I may have found the root cause, namely a bad Windows 10 update. I removed as many of the April 13 updates as I could and things improved a LOT. The PC is still slow but no hard crashes or blue screens. PS was better too. No strange jumps, flickers or locks despite being somewhat laggy.

I did pause updates for 35 days but discovered this AM than another "update" snuck through-probably before I booted off last night ( no notification). Windows is also not letting me remove that one. SO I think I'll just do a reset of the OS rather than a system restore. ( sigh)
