Photoshop not opening

Photoshop is not working . i bought the plan , but when i open it , there is a window that opens then nothing happens . i keep selcting files then new but nothing . ???

 

do you know why

When you select File > New you should get the following dialogue screen.

If not here are some ideas:

Which version of the OS do you have?
How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?
You may need to reinstall the application again and possibly reset the Photoshop preferences.

The other option is to install an earlier version

Did you just install? Did you try restarting your computer?
