Photoshop only works on specific network
TL;DR - CC app only works on school wifi, can't use photoshop or update any apps right now because it can't verify my subscription from server. other apps seem to be working.

(This is my first post on the forum so if I'm at the wrong place, please point me in the right direction)
I have an education based Adobe account that I use for school and personal work. Back in 2019, I started getting an issue on my laptop where I couldn't use the Adobe Creative Cloud app from my home network. It would give me an error saying something along the lines of "can't connect to server... please check your firewall settings." I tried some basic troubleshooting (firwall, proxy, etc.) but to no avail. It would only work when I was at school. I just shrugged my shoulders because I decided I could just update my apps when I was at school as I was still able to use the apps at home.
However, about a month ago, Photoshop (one of my most used app) wouldn't turn on without "verifying my subscription status." So I tried several troubleshooting guides and spent hours upon hours changing my host files, deleting Creative Cloud, reinstalling it, using a hotspot but it JUST wouldn't work.
I have a desktop PC with Windows 10 on the same network and I can open Creative Cloud on there just fine. When I access my account online on the PC, it allows me to download a "Photoshop Installer." On my laptop, I get no such option and the browser tries to open CC, which fails. The problem seems to be with my laptop but I need to figure out how I can fix it. Currently, my plan is to install Photoshop on there and open it on my laptop through Windows File Sharing. But this is a very temporary solution. My only other options right now are getting help from the community, wiping my laptop (huge task) or use the free Photoshop version from CS2 (pls no).
If you have any technical questions or any questions at all, please ask away.
I would appreciate any help.
Cheers.
