Photoshop opens Lightroom files with no adjustments

Hi-

When I choose to edit lightroom files (for first time) in Photoshop and after some adjustments have been made in lightroom, the file that opens in photoshop has none of the Lightroom adjustments. This was working fine then just did not work anymore. I shut down and reloaded all programs and it worked for one picture and then it would not work for the next picture.

Files already edited in Photoshop open after dialog box asks if i want to edit original or with copy with Lightroom adjustments.

iMac 2019

OS Catalina

Lightroom 10.0

Camera Raw 13.0

Photoshop 22.0.0

What kind of file are you opening - raw file from a camera, or PSD/TIFF/jpeg? What kind of adjustment? Are the adjustments visible in Lightroom, but not in Photoshop?

The files are .cr3 file from a canon eos R. So they are raw files.

Yes, adjustments are visible in LR. Thry are not visible in PS.

The adjustments are basic adjustments like exposure and white balance along with brush adjustments like skin softening.

The file that opens in PS looks like all the adjustments have been stripped away.
