Photoshop Package PSD Glitch

Recently, when supplying packaged PSDs, the linked smart objects within the outputted PSD moved. Not only that but some of them were re-scaled disproportionately. This has happened in the past and a recent update seemed to have rectified the problem... until now. Has anybody else experienced this?

When you save a PSD package you specify which folder to save the package in. In that folder a Links folder will be created and the and a PSD file will be save into the selected folder as well and the liked  files  will net copied into the folder links folder any the save links will be to that folder where the image files were copied to.  You should be  able to distribute that PSDpackage folder or copy it to any disk and open the PSD file in the folder. Here I created a PSDpackage folder on  my desktop and the copied the folder and its contents to my E: disk.  When I open the PSD file on my E: disk the PDS opens without a problem. The link are good. If I want to relink  a smart object I see that the current link is to the Links folder in the PSDpackage folder on my E: disk.   Menu File>Package did a good job packaging my PSD document with linked smart object and packaged the image files into the  links folder in the PSDpackage folder.

What Photoshop version did you use Menu File>Package to create the PSD package???  CC 2019 created a good PSDpackage for me just now...

Thank you for sending that through but the issue was not resolved in that post - it merely states what I thought to be the case, a "bug that eventually gets fixed".
