Question

Photoshop printer profile choices

Hello all,

Is it possible to hide or turn off the large number of paper/profiles and just have the papers I use show up as choices?

I have less then 10 paper profiles I ever use and would like to hide the rest.

Hi

you'll need to remove the ones you dont want to see, Photoshop can't do that for you.

I. suggest that rather than deleting you move them to a folder outsdie the system folder named  [removed from / folder path name] just in case you were inadvertantly deleting something important.

where are they found?:

ALSO on Mac

Also, print drivers will often bundle their output media profiles in the Library/Printers folder, but these are not usually available outside of the OSX Print dialog unless you copy them into one of the ColorSync/Profiles folders.

/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/ICCProfiles/Pro7600.profiles/Contents/Resources

I hope this helps

All you can do is remove them from their current folder location. Or maybe zip them. But no, there’s no way to filter out the profiles you don’t wish to see in Photoshop itself. It will show you every profile in their proper location depending on your OS.
