Photoshop Printing Problem

I just got a new PC and reloaded CS4. I am having issues printing jpg's. Some of the jpg's print but have lines through the image. I can print them from somewhere other than PS without the issue. Other jpg's that I try to print, I get a message saying that I must first install a printer.

After I deleted and reinstalled the drivers for the printer, I am back in business, even with an old version of Photoshop and Windows 10.

No support doesn't mean it won't work.

Anyway, this is mostly semantics. I agree with you.

What operating system are you on in this new PC? If it's a new one like Windows 10, I'm impressed you even got CS4 to open. The CS4 version of Photoshop is really old, and has not been supported for a very long time. It is not set up to run correctly on newer operating systems. My guess it it has something to do with this. Old software running in a new operating system communication glitches.

It's Windows 10. The old PC also had Windows 10 also and Photoshop CS4 worked flawlessly. I am thinking it may be a setting I am missing.

Crazy. CS4 is not supposed to work on Windows 10. Neither is CS5 as well.
