Photoshop Problem with adding effects to text

Question

I am not really sure how to explain this, but everytime I put a drop shadow etc. to text I get this annoying color square maybe even a glitch in the corner. I dont even know what to search into google how to fix this, so if you have any suggestions that would be amazing! Few other things, I use a Wacom tablet, it does show up when I save, and yes I have restarted my computer lol. Thank you!

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you are using along with your computers operating system?

You can go to the Preferences for Photoshop, then Performance and uncheck the option to Use Graphics Processor. Also, check the option for Legacy Compositing. Once done, relaunch Photoshop and check if the issue persists.
