Photoshop "real time" Character pallette issue

Since ive downloaded PShop CC 2018 the "real time" changing of text specifics, such as size, leading, tracking and all the other wonderful stuff within the character pallette has seem to have stopped working. I was wondering if there was a update in the works for this issue?
Apologies if this has been discussed anywhere else but ive not found anything about it.

    It is a known bug and Adobe have acknowledged it and confirmed they are working on resolution. They do not normally give a date for future releases so no date can be given for the fix.

    Thanks Dave. I knew they would be on it, but just thought it was something small they overlooked and would have had it fixed pretty quickly. Thanks for your reply anyway !

    History shows that fixes tend to get released in batches as a dot release. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long
