photoshop remove tool leaves a faint red streak

Question

On both the latest Photoshop and the beta version (On a Windows 11 laptop), when I use the remove tool to take out a stray hair or a crease in the skin, it leaves a very faint red streak where it does the removal.

It doesn't seem to matter if I do it on a layer directly or a healing layer above the problem and set the tool to sample all layers.

Is anyone else seeing this?
