photoshop removes half my layer everytime I try to select or resize a piece

Since the last two days, ever since my photoshop updated to 23.4.0, it's been having a lot of problems when resizing a piece of my layer every time I select it. It causes half or more of the layer to glitch out and completely dissapear. It's still there in the preview of the file, but once I open it and select the layer it's gone.
As of today it even started glitching out completely when I tried to select and move something.
I've already updated my macbook to the latest version the day after the problem began to see if that would solve it, but it didn't. 

The video I attached has a lot of flashing lights so please be careful when viewing it.
I hope this problem can be solved soon because it's driving me crazy, and I have deadlines due very soon.

23.4 was kinda pulled and not recommended to install. Maybe try with 23.4.1 first.

    This appeared to have fixed the problem!
    It did begin when my photoshop automatically updated. For some reason it didn't automatically update to the latest version. Thanks for letting me know!

      Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue? 

      Does turning on »Deactivate Native Canvas« (Photoshop > Preferences > Technology Previews) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

      I've tried Deactivate Native Canvas already, but unfortunately that didn't work.
      Turning off the graphics processor so far seems to work. My photoshop is being a bit snappy but other than that the initial glitch seems to be gone. It's still not working 100% though. Now every time I draw a line or select something it takes a few frames to appear and/or work as it should.
