Photoshop Resize Object in Document

In the olden days you held down the shift key to resize an object in PS and it would resize proportionatly. Sorry I am old school. Is there a way to change this so that is the way you do it in PS 2024?

is there a Legacy setting for old timers?

Edit < Preferences > General, make sure Use Legacy New Document' Interface is checked.
