photoshop save files got deleted

hi, 

as i use photoshop alot, i made a folder in my d drive and alway save my projects there.but recently, i updated the adobe photoshop, and i tried to do my save projects file.the folder is missing. i have so many stuffs and works, it all went disapper. can you please help me thank you
