Photoshop shows photos in bottom right corner of screen on macbook pro

I am running Creative Cloud on a iMac 27" successfully. Recently I purchased a MacBook Pro 2017 15". On the MacBook in 'Standard Screen Mode' Photoshop displays photos in the bottom right corner of the screen. When I enlarge the photo it does not fill the screen correctly, part of the photo being lost to the right of the screen.

In 'Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar', the photo is correctly centred. However, in this mode I do not see file names along the top of the screen when several photos are open. I can only toggle between photos by clicking on 'Window' and then scrolling to the bottom of the pop-up menu, where the file names are listed.

Can anyone help me please to either get 'Standard Screen Mode' to display photos in the centre of the screen or get 'Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar' to display file names along the top of the screen.

The version of Photoshop CC on my MacBook Pro is 19.1.3.

Thank you.

    Hi Hedley,

Sorry that Photoshop is showing your image correctly in the standard screen mode and is cutting the file name up top in Full screen mode.

Could you please update Photoshop to the latest version 19.1.6 from the Creative Cloud desktop app? Refer Keeping Photoshop Up-To-Date

If updating the app does not help, please restore Photoshop app preferences to default as mentioned in this help page: Preferences in Photoshop

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Hi Akash,

Thanks for your prompt response. I have done what you suggested and it appears to have solved the problem in 'Standard Screen Mode'.

    Well done!

    Thanks,

    Hedley

PS - I can't see a 'Correct' button, as mentioned in your email reply.
