Photoshop - Subscription advice

Hi everyone,

I love photoshop but I have a really old version of it. I would like to get the most updated functions of the program but I do not use it all the time. I would say throughout the year, I maybe use it in 6-8 different months. This is for personal use so I have a budget since no one else is paying for it (like work)
What plan would be best for me?

thanks in advance for any assistance

It just happens that ProDesignTools put out an article on the Photography plan last Wednesday.  I wondered at the time how long it would be till I found a use for it.  I have no idea whether you can pay for just one month when you need it.  I have a feeling that once you see how incredible Photoshop has become, you are going to become a far more active user.

We look forward to seeing your first question on how to use particular functions.  We love helping folk with those sort of questions.

The Photography Plan, which includes Lightroom as well as Photoshop costs around $10 a month, alternatively, there's Photoshop Elements, which is a kind of Photoshop light, which is available for a one off payment of around $90.

You need a powerful modern computer to run Photoshop so it might be worth downloading the seven-day trial version to see if you like it and if it runs successfully on your system.
